Abstract

Abstract: The author demonstrates the Ukrainian historians’ points of view on the character of relations between the Ukrainian Hetmanate and the Osman Empire. These views are compared with the evidence in sources about the Ottoman politics toward the Ukrainian lands and the attitude of the Ukrainian population to the Osmans.
